Our Experienced Team Has Got You Covered.

As a service provider for Auto & General Insurance Services we undertake domestic insurance repair work in our home state of Victoria.

Our office is located in Torquay, Victoria and our Supervisors and Estimators are located at key points throughout the state along with our vast network of trades.

We are extremely customer focused and understand that your home is your biggest investment, that’s why your repair process will be managed from start to finish by our experienced team. All our trades and specialists are chosen due to their experience and quality of work so that when we carry out the repairs to your home, you can be confident you are in the hands of professionals.

Below is information on how the process works and how the repairs to your home will be managed by our Insurance Repairs team.

1. Assessment

Once we have been appointed by Auto & General to attend your home, we will be asked to either assess the damage or to go through a Scope of Works created by another.

Our office will contact the homeowner/tenant or representative to book an appointment with our supervisor or estimator so that they can create a scope of works that includes the repairs needed to your home to return the home back to pre-loss condition in line with your PDS (product Disclosure Statement), or to look through the Scope of Works that has been provided to our office by Auto & General.

2. Repairs

Once we have been authorised to carry out the repairs to your home, you will once again be contacted by our office to advise you that we are the appointed builder and we will send out your Scope of Works to review along with a contract (contracts only sent on jobs over $5,000) for you to sign, at this point we will also require your excess to be paid either to our office or Auto & General. When you have returned the documentation to our office, we assign a supervisor to your claim who will be your direct contact throughout the repair process. The supervisor will book in the necessary trades to repair your home and guide you through any decisions that are required to be made (such as colour & material selections).

3. Completion of Repairs

Once all repairs have been completed, an inspection will be carried out by our office to make sure all works are complete and to an acceptable industry standard. On completion of the inspection, we will update Auto & General advising that all works are complete.
